Hello all. I live in Hawaii. I have an IPA in primary as we speak. Was wondering about how long I should let this thing go. I was thinking 14 days. Then maybe another 14 in the bottle. I'm getting away from using a secondary fermenter. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Happy brewing!!

Do you plan on dry hopping at all? 14 days should be fine, either way, though I'd probably do closer to 18-21 days if I were dry hopping. Probably not necessary, though. 14 days should be plenty of time to bottle condition, I'd imagine.

Quicker the better for an IPA. For me, its usually 3-5 day fermentation, 3-5 day dry hop. Bottle, start drinking 10 days later.

3-5 days? Really? Seems fast. Everything I've read says 10-14 days. Bottling conditioning information varies depending on who you talk to. Wow. 3-5 days, huh?
