Hi all,
Stupid question I am sure, but I have an old pump style keg tap from college, would I be able to pull the pump and the cobra head off the "D" type connector and then connect the "D" connector to a CO2 line in my keezer and a beer line to my tap?? I'm sure I'll have to clean it well...but I'm thinking it might be nice to have a guest keg every once in a while.

Thanks for any help in advance!!

Hmm interesting question. I'd say that if the pump portion is easily removable and you could find a way to get a barb or MFL fitting where the pump used to be, go for it. But considering that a Sankey tap can be as cheap as $30 it might not be worth putting too much effort into it.

Thanks for the response, I don't see why it shouldn't work either, but I figured I would ask to see if anyone else had done it. It's a pretty old keg tap that I inherited probably a decade ago, and it hasn't seen much use as of late...I figured if it could work for this it would be cool.
