Anyone know a place that sells or will make custom tap handles out of anodized/powdercoated aluminum? There are a couple of local machine shops but I was wondering if there was a place out there that had some examples.

Matter a fact I used to play alot of paintball, that's where I go the idea. Probably going to have to find a machinist that will do it for me.

Yeah, I used to play too. A guy I work with still does his own modifications and probably knows a guy who knows a guy.:D

I'll bounce the idea off of him...

FYI - You can anodize in your garage pretty easily if you want to. Not sure what quality you will get the first few times, but I've read up on it and it only requires a battery charger, some battery acid, a couple of pieces of metal, and some RIT dye.

The results I've seen online look pretty good. I've used a similar process in reverse to remove rust from my auto restoration projects.

Do a google search if you like doing this kind of thing for fun.

On the paintball note, ( used to play collegiate) some people spend way too much money on annodizing and laser engraving, where if they actually PLAY with it, it'll be scratched off a few practices/tourneys. Old Mid/Snake man :D I suppose those Back Men, heaven sent, are more likely to have shiny pretty guns.
I always considered the cool guns the mostly bare aluminum ones with hints of anno here and there.
