Interesting that they have Curious #2 available- assuming there can't be much of it. The draft list looks awesome- includes Existence (StS without maple), Double Koko Buni, Kings Ransom (Other Half collab), and Athena Paradiso Guava + Passion Fruit.

The no ticket part is scary, especially for someone like myself that lives an hour and a half away.

Also, every tour includes a special glass.

I'm guessing someone just messed up dates. So bottles to go now, eh.

I might go later in the afternoon around 3-4, but no way in hell in trying to get in around 1 when they open up.
I'm gonna head over there and have a late breakfast/brunch then nerd it out in line. Sounds like it will be fun. Maybe it will rain so fewer people will show up. I'm greedy !

I'll probably head up super early. I'd love to get some curious #2. I live an hour and a half away, so I don't want to drive all the way up there and strike out.

What time do you think the majority of people will actually show up? I can, in a perfect world, get there around 11:45. I know RayP thinks it's going to be a **** show.

Edit: We praying for rain BravoDawg lol? Is that the ticket to scaring away the Georgia neckbeards?

For what it's worth I have no patience and am anti-lines for anything. A 30 minute wait for anything beer related sky rockets my blood pressure. And there is no way getting there are 12:30 is going to put you near the front of the line.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'm just not going to bother at all. The things I'd want to drink will be long gone by then, don't want/need any of those bottles that badly, and the things that will likely be left I've already had.

I don't think rain will scare that many people off, not the ones that were going to be there super early anyways.

Honestly, I want the draft list/glass more than the bottles. I'll probably get there around 10. Fwiw, I hate lines and really even chasing beers in general- I haven't gone to any bottle shops for limited release beers in probably 2 years now. I go to my local shop and if they have it- great... If not, whatever and I will drink whatever else they have. That being said, I think big showings at events like this really help push the cause for future (which next year will be huge) changes in our archaic laws.

10? Jeebus.

3 hour wait in line to sample 32oz of beer lol. Never.

Have I mentioned I hate lines yet?

Man do your guys' laws suck, and I thought South Carolina was bad. Think I'm going to pass and either hit up The Veil opening in Richmond or just stay home. I don't even care about the bottles, for 4 hours of driving (each way) to drink 32 oz of beer is not happening.

I plan on getting to Athens around 10 and turning up in the wahizzle for breakfast. Gotta slow the absorption rate lol !

To be fair, last year when they did their party they did 12 drink tickets, instead of the standard 6. Then they poured pretty generously, instead of doing half of a normal pour like they technically should have.

Yeah I could do about an hour. I mean, I used to go to Jester King a lot lol. At least you got to drink Atrial and such on tap while you waited. 3+ seems silly. I hope most people aren't that ******* eager to go do nothing on a Saturday.

If you could drink while waiting in line I'd be game. But sitting and talking to you ***** for 3 hours, sober, is not going to happen.

I say I'll be there at 10, but we will see if I even go honestly haha. I have a feeling when the 16th comes around I will have a change of heart.
