Brewed last Saturday....good bubbling on Sun/Mon....I left town on Wed, just returned (Saturday - 7 days in fermenter). Checked the bucket and the lid was bowed up (still on though), airlock was crusty and dried up. I took the airlock off and cleaned it so it could breathe, put it back on. Am I ok? How about the beer?

You are OK. If the lid was still bowed up it means there was pressure in it (stuff still going out, nothing going in).

Thanks for the feedback. Just checked the airlock and it is still bubbling but not as much.

You're fine. You're lucky it didn't blow! Next time that you will be leaving the fermentation unsupervised for days, I recommend setting up a blow-off hose especially if you know that it's gonna be a frisky fermentation.
