I have a half pound jar of Creamed Honey and was wondering what type of beer it would be good in. It tastes real good and I would want to impart that flavor in the beer. any help would be appreciated.

Damn, was hoping for some pics.

Boy is my mind wondering today......

If it is just whipped honey then treat it as if it is honey. Little flavor added, mostly just a drier finish as it will almost all ferment out. Check ingredients list.

It is hard to get honey flavors to come through into a finished beer a lot of the time. You would want to start with a balanced (not too hoppy or malty) simple style like a pale ale (not IPA or APA) or a cream ale. Add the honey at flameout (honey is always sterile as far as I understand).

Like Beer Guy said it will mostly just ferment out because it is essentially all sugar but if the beer is basic enough maybe you can get the flavor to come through. Keep in mind it will also increase your starting gravity.

It is just standard whipped honey. What is the point of using honey if it doesn't impart any flavors then?

It does produce some flavors but they can get masked really easily in my experience. It also is really fermentable so it helps to make a drier final product.
