I was gifted a brew kit from Craftabrew that is the gluten free beer with Belgian candy sugar. The yeast packet states it's a fruity ale yeast. Anyone know which strain this is?

I certainly wish these guys would respond to my request for information. Their kit is very vague and gives no solid numbers for anything. I have no idea what my OG or FG should be. Even an attenuation number would be nice as I figured I'd save it in case I like it.

I have no information that you are looking for, but I want you to know that your words have not gone unread...I hope you find what you're looking for in your endeavors!

Craftabrew seems to be very secretive about many things.
I will tell you that we sell craftabrew kits in our store, and i have made all of their beers.
The idea behind them is kind if like the old Mr Beer, but using some grains.
They want to to follow their directions and use tgeir products, and trust that they come out right.
As I said, ive made all their beers, and I just followed their instructions...it works. The beers are pretty good quality, and simple to make.

This one is all extract with Belgian candi sugar. Can't go wrong really as far as the numbers go, but I wish they provided them.

I guess I'll see what numbers I get and make the assumption they are correct that I can place the attenuation numbers in and get what I expect. Of course I'd keep track.

I may not care for the yeast strain and my inquiries will have been a waste. Won't know 'til I do it I suppose...
