I recently bought the brewdemon conical fermenter through amazon, when I came back to my country I put it in a hard suitcase and send it with my luggage and all the home brewing equipment I brought, I guess that my suitcase was handled not very carefully because when I bought it I tested it in Miami and the fermenter was perfect, but when I opened the bag it came with a small dip in the plastic which I easily put back in place but when I filled the fermenter with water to check for any leaks, water started leaking near the spigot and I saw a small crack about 1 inch long and very thin coming out from the spigot connection, I was wondering if I could fix the crack using hot glue or silicone, I really would not want to need to throw it away because where I am it is very hard to get proper equipment(even as simple as that) and they are very expensive. Thank you for any help

I would try sealing it with silicone. However, be cautious that silicone would only seal and not really provide any structural integrity to keep the crack from spreading further up.

You may come home some day and find a split conical and beer all over.
