Hey ya'll,
I just bought my first corny keg; used. It is in good condition, but I am going to referb it. Springs are good inside the ball joint. I ordered a new o-ring set. I am going to rinse it out a few times then let it sit with water for a while, then rinse it again.
Anyone have any other ideas to make sure that it is good to go for its first use?
Thanks,
ZK

My routine for used kegs:
-Take it apart completely.
-Make a small container with hot water and a bit of oxiclean and soak all the parts in there
-Rinse the keg well
-Fill it with hot water and oxiclean
-Let it sit overnight
-Rinse everything very well
-Sanitize, reassemble

Oh, I replace the o-rings too, good call on that.
