corny keg bottoms

hi all ,i am trying to get my wife off my back because each time i clean a corny in the tub i get the black gunk from the bottom rubber bottom all over it. is there a way to claen the rubber to keep it from coming off.please helpbefore i am forced out of the house.

I think you are talking about the rubber making marks on your tub?

If so I don't think there is a way to really prevent this expect to cover the rubber with tape or you could get some of the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and just clean the tub afterwards, she will never know.

I'd try a scotch bright, but the solution might be a rubber shower mat to rest the cornies on while cleaning.

I would spray the keg down with WD-40 before it goes into the tub (JUST KIDDING) naw, I wash mine in the yard with the hose........ and clean the hell outta my fridge regularly.
