You'll be a little over carbonated, perhaps 3.1vol CO2 depending upon variables.
You might want to drink them soon and put them in the refrigerator after about 10 days to 2 weeks to be sure they don't keep carbonating.
Were you at final gravity/had fermentation stopped for certain with gravity not changing for several days?
you might end up with some spritzy beer! in the future...
1. know your volume. there's a reason most of us scale our batches to target 5.5 gallons to the fv, you will lose some to the trub/yeast cake.
2. start measuring your priming sugar by weight not volume. you can get a cheap digital kitchen scale @ Walmart if you don't already own one. they're handy for weighing out hops & grains anyway.
3. use a priming calculator to determine exactly how much sugar you need. I use the one found here http://www.brewersfriend.com
No activity for over a week. 3 weeks of fermenting total. Broke my hydrometer last night and forgot to bring the scale over to brother-in-law's house today. This is why 3/4 cup of sugar versus weighing it out.
I still have the BF free app so I just use that calculator. Things just were not aligned for me today.
