I was wondering how many tsp of corn sugar am i going to use in a 500ml bottle for carbanation.. corn sugar is all i have right now.

Im using Muntons Blonde

Im thinking less then a tsp right? like maybe 1/2?

Thanks :mug:

Sounds like you don't have a bottling bucket? 1/2tsp would be ok. but a bottling bucket to bulk prime is def better. More even carbonation from bottle to bottle.

thanks for the advice!!! next batch ill be asking you some info on that :D thanks again

The biggest problem with measuring such small amounts is that even small errors create relatively large variations.

A bottling bucket spreads that error over a larger amount of beer. Plus it's way easier to bottle from a spigot than from a racking cane.
