All,

Need to sweat a few copper bends onto copper tuning for my recirculation chiller, as well as to various other places on my system. I was going to order most of these from McMaster, but in looking at the catalog page (McMaster-Carr), I note that the fittings are only rated to 200 degrees. I will definitely have boiling wort flowing through these for at least the alst 15 minutes of every boil. Question is, is this o.k., or am I going to give myself alzheimer's or something?

Thanks - Norm

They will work fine. I would imagine the 200 degree number is to limit them from steam or extreme pressure use.
