Copper brew pot

New to brewing. I own a candy mfg company and have small (7 gal) copper kettles they are more like big bowls and old burner i converted to lp. Will using this along with a wort chiller harm any part of the process i will be doing extracts only. Just trying to use whats on hand and not buy new
