Well I found that Kewler kitz in a "nearby store" (like an hour away... oy...). I brought everythign there to try right there. We put the Kewler kitz on the cooler (rubbermaid 5 gal) but could not fish the Phil's bottom underr it. The kit is 1/2" hardware and I had this problem when I tried to fix up hardware before with 1/2. So there is this other false bottom that is steel and it worked great (was able to get the thing under the bottom). My only bitch is I already have Phil's. What can I do.... So.... looks like I am pretty set to go. I need to get a ball (1/2 inch) valve (not paying 12 bucks for one at the brew store thats for sure).

Anyone have this Kewler Kit assembly? He said to follow the directions because the O ring could get damaged if you tighten it down the wrong way (you have to tighten it from the inside apparently).
