Ok, here's one other piece of advice you may NOT have heard.
If you are anything like me, you'll be singing your daughter to sleep at least once a day. Nothing says that this needs to be "Rock-a-Bye-Baby." They don't understand the words when they are young, they just want to hear your voice.
Find some of YOUR music that can be sung as a lullaby, so that you aren't bored to tears. For me, it was Tom Waits - but really, there is a lot of stuff out there that works, you just need to find a melody.
Plus, it gets them trained early on REAL music
