I think it's about that time. Time to upgrade away from my trusty orange cooler to stainless steel. I was looking at the SS Brewtech mash tuns. But that's all it really was, just looking. They are very expensive and I live in Ireland so I'd have to pay a lot in import fees due to Brexit or a lot in shipping fees because it would have to come from the mainland. Does anyone have any experience with converting an insulated thermos like this one into a mash tun? This particular model comes plain with no tap or with a tap that is removable and the hole is .5 inch wide. So I'd have to drill through anyway to make it big enough for a bulkhead. Just putting the feelers out it anyone has worked with this before.
