I've had this used keg sitting around for years. Can I use it for my home cider brewing? I know it has a different top from my Corny keg I currently use. Still a newbie and wondering how to open this up, clean it, stock it and connect to my tap and Co2 regulator.

I've never used one, but here's a video I found on how to remove the spear. There's various options for converting the Sanke to either ball lock or MFL, just google "Sanke to ball lock" (or pin lock depending on your current setup).

Ha. That worked!! The online video was perfect. Opened it up. Soaked it with cleaner and now sparkling clean. Also realized i have two sanke taps on hand i can use. I just increased my capacity by 200%! Thanks all!
