Confirmation jumping to kegging

I finished a long weekend at work and have decided to jump into kegging.
have a list started of all equipment I’ll need to start attempting to keg and I'm looking for sets of eyes of keggers who have ditched bottles for guidance.
have a small 1.75 ball lock keg.
Still need:
Co2 tank
Tap rite dual gauge regulator
Ball lock gas line 5/16”?
3/16” tubing w/picnic faucet tap?
Fill tank....
then I’m kegging?

Sounds good. What do you mean by fill tank? You exchange CO2 tanks as you would a propane tank (unless you have found a place to fill one). So if you have a LHBS, find any CO2 tank on Craigslist and exchange it. Can save you some cash from buying a new tank.

Also you will need a liquid ball lock quick disconnect and a gas quick disconnect. They are black and gray, respectively and attach the tubing to the keg.

Preferentially, get the Taprite regulator with a 1/4" male flare thread on the output shutoff valve, and get CMB ball lock connectors with the same threading.

Then look into EVAbarrier tubing with push-to-connect adapters for both your beer and gas lines. You can use the same 4mm ID tubing for beer and gas - forget the whole 5/16" gas tubing anachronism.

You will also want to start looking into the process of racking from fermentor to keg. You'll need some bits of tubing and hardware, and perhaps a strategy.

Good to know on the exchanging of tanks. I have yet to contact my local hardware stores and paintball store to see if they will fill. This would be more convenient for me as my lhbs is farther from me then the previous options.

I’ll consider this approach what would be the advantage with this? Better regulator or just Uniformity? The gas/liquid ball lock disconnects I’m looking at are MFL from my lhbs website.
