it smells fine, and im pretty sure it looks fine, my first brew tho and you know how it goes. put my mind at ease and tell me its not infected

Drinking mold won't hurt ya.... nothing that lives in beer can. But your batch looks fine. What you see on top there are yeast 'rafts', floating clumps of yeast. You can either let it sit for a few days/weeks and they'll fall, or you can rack the beer for packaging if the FG is stable. I'd recommend the former, but either way you're good.
Check out some of the pics in that thread I posted a link to.... there's some wicked 'infections' there, most of them intentional to make sour beers.

yeast and mold are not that different, according to Wikipedia:)

Mold -fungi that grow in the form of multicellular filaments called hyphae. In contrast, fungi that grow as single cells are called yeasts.
