Well, i kegged a batch after 3 weeks.. and put it directly into my keggerator to carb... how much will the cold affect the conditioning process.. and in the future, should i set it out to condition at room temp instead?
After I pressurize my kegs (20 psi, agitated for 15 min. @ room temp) they go right into the fridge. I figure that gas dissolves more quickly and at higher volumes in liquids at colder temps. Being an impatient bastard I'm usually into the kegs 24-48 hrs later. 2-3 weeks later though I'm kicking myself cause it tastes that much better. In my readings it seems a lot of ales peak at 1-3 months, but like I said I'm happy in 2 weeks.
thats basically all i needed to know, it your beer conditions slower in cold or if it is the same.. but sounds like i dont have anything to worry about...
