I have read in different places, I should pre-boil if you would, an aluminum pot before brewing with it??

Thank in advance.

I would condition the aluminum vessel before use, it's simply the safest route.
You can boil some water with the lid on for an hour, or if you can fit it in the oven, bake it.
Either way you're looking for an obvious darkening as the oxide layer forms and deepens.
And once you get it there, avoid abrasives when cleaning as you'll expose raw aluminum again...

Cheers!
