Here in Kentucky, the laws are really pro-gun. I can open carry anywhere (that allows concealed, open carry requires no permit) at age 18, concealed at 21 (with permit), and there really aren't any restrictions on what you can carry as long as the firearm is legal to possess. On the topic of open carry, I don't do it. I feel like walking around with a visible pistol is just asking for trouble if you get into an argument or something.

Kentucky CCDW - Weapons covered with License.
* Any weapon from which a shot, readily capable of producing death or serious physical injury, may be discharged.
* Any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or hunting knife.
* Billy, nightstick, or club.
* Blackjack or slapjack.
* Nunchaku karate sticks.
* Shiriken or death star.
* Artificial knuckles made from plastic, or other similar hard material.

God bless the USA, and our Second Amendment!

hahahaha, I would have to get it just for that.

The funny thing bro, when I was told what I can and cannot carry when I was getting my license when they told me that I bust out laughing. They didn't understand why I thought it was so funny. Apparently quite a few people carry them which I cannot understand. :drunk: At least that's what I was told... I've never seen anyone carry them.

Man, don't **** with a ninja!

I've had mine for a couple of years now. I carry a Smith & Wesson M&P9 Compact. I would probably carry more if I had a better holster. I've heard great things about the Crossbreed holsters, I should probably look at getting one.

Unfortunately I don't carry all the time as I usually drink a beer or two when I go out. As many of you know, there is zero tolerance for CCW holders and it's not worth the risk.

Carry the Glock 27 .40cal love it! Even though CT is not a concealed carry state, the grey areas are so, that I would highly recommend it.

I carry in Las Vegas (home). Sig P229 in 40. Pretty much useless in the summer when I can't wear a sweatshirt. Cops are usually pretty cool about you "printing", but I don't like to. I'd rather have no one except me know I'm carrying.

^^^ Like I mentioned early... carry a Glock 27 with quite a bit of trigger work included Ghost 3.5lb connector (with CCW legal spring weight). Gun was my buddies who was a PHX PD and carried it as a back up but told me he never actually shot it and traded me for a gun that I actually never chambered. LOL Worked out beautiful. Not my primary carry by any means but a great go to gun with the Milt Sparks Holster (as all my guns have).

Looks nice, but now the real question....how's the comfort?

They are comfortable!:D:D:D
Obviously my Subcompact 9mm is more comfortable than my 45 is in the same holster but it's a size weight thing.

Most comfortable holster I've ever worn without a doubt. I can wear it 12 hours or better a day without complaint. Sometimes I'm wearing it and I forget that I'm even wearing it. :D

I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II (.45). The Great State of Alaska does not require law abiding citizens to get a permit. Carry it in a Minotaur holster from comp-tac.com.

Aint Alaska great:)

Same holster here for both my carry pistols, makes it disappear and is comfortable:mug:

I should be picking up a Glock 26 upper for $75, then I can buy an lower/receiver for $150. Whoo hoo a $225 Glock!

The upper is used, but has all the internal parts. I was told less than 200 rounds were run through it.

Everyday! We dont even need a cert any more in AZ. Kind of scary if you are one of the unarmed.

I got mine about 6 months ago and carry a Ruger LCP pretty regularly as it is the easiest thing to conceal under just a t-shirt. Sometimes I'll carry a Kel-Tec PF9 or if I have a heavy coat sometimes I'll pack the 5" 1911. Gotta watch "printing" here in TX, it could cost you your license.

In South Africa we have to carry concealed by law (LEO excluded obviously).
I carry a Glock 27 in a kydex IWB holster loaded with Spear Gold Dot 165gr and spare mag.
Im about to have my sites upgraded - probably trijicon.
Trouble with the sub-compact Glocks is you can't easily fit a tac light.

Kahr PM9 in a DeSantis Nemisis front pocket holster.

Either a Ruger LCP in a pocket holster, or a Glock 36 in a Crossbreed Supertuck, unless I'm drinking or at work.

SWMBO just took her CCW class a few months back, and is currently drooling over a Sig p232.

Glock 32 357 SIG with a modified 3.5 lb trigger and XS sights.

I love the power/size ratio of the 357 SIG round but it's a bit much for a compact. Practice rounds sting the hand a bit.

I carry full size 1911's in .45 cal. I have a Little Bear custom inside the waistband, wide platform holster that is very comfortable. Here in Maine it's not very difficult to get a permit. Prior military doesn't need a cc training course.

Shoot what your comfortable with bro. No shame in that. If you can put more 9mm rounds on target comfortably then go with that. I grew up shooting my pops old Smith/Wesson 357. mag, so for a while I carried that even though it was terribly heavy (for a concealed handgun). I have a Beretta 92fs (9mm) that I carry once in a while also because it's just so comfortable to shoot.

I have a 92fs also. I love it. I need to get something smaller to carry. I'm looking at an XD by Springfield.
