Hello Everyone,

Would anyone be able to point me to a source where I can purchase commercial equipment. I am in the beginning stages of opening a cidery and need to purchase some equipment. If anyone has any suggestions, please pass them along.

Thanks

Francis Street Farms

Specifically, what equipment are you looking for? We have a commercial meadery/cidery and can steer you in the right direction. Grinder? Press? Fermentation tank? Brite tank? Filter? Pasteurizer? Pumps? Bottler? Labeler? Many of these have a low cost DIY version. Have you seen Rev. Nat West's startup powerpoint? Also, I think it's too late to register for the Cider convention in Chicago this weekend but keep it in mind for next year.

I am looking for pumps, tanks, filters and prices on bottlers as well as labelers. At the present time we will not be pressing our own apples, so no need for the grinder or pressing machine. We would like to get a 10 bbl tank. I have downloaded Rev. Nat West's startup power point and it got some great information. But I am finding it hard to find the correct clamps and couplings as well. I am going to go with 2" Tigerflex Milk series hose. So any help there would be much appreciated as well. Yeah unfortunately, we're not going to be able to make to this years Cider Conference in Chicago. Just a little to expensive to register now. Thank and I look forward to you post. I am out on the front range of Colorado.

Sorry I'm still trying to get the hang of how to respond to posts.

I am building 150 gallon stainless. I am also looking for information on a Euro-30 MVI pump or something similar that has variable speed control. Also, where is the best place purchase Tri-clamps or NPT clamps and which is better.
