If I want to try cold conditioning, since I don't have room in my fridge for a carboy, can I just leave it in the secondary at room temp for a couple weeks like I normally would, then when fermentation stops bottle and refrigerate for a few more weeks? That sufficient?

Thanks

well, it's not really cold conditioning if you're leaving it at room temp. If you bottle and refrigerate right away, it won't carbonate or condition (assuming this is an ale we're talking about).

Leave it in the primary for 3-4 weeks. Your brew will benefit from it so much more. The yeast will have time to clean up after themselves.
