Has anyone tried using a Scoby with Coffee instead of tea? If so what were the results?
 
Madness!
I would expect rancidity (or worse) from all the oil, and at best a nasty week-old stale coffee flavor. Still... I'm kind of curious now.

I know right! I figure if it works with Tea, and Coffee Works in brewing, Maybe just maybe it could be the next amazing awesome thing!
 
I actually have a recipe for a wine type fermentation of coffee. I am thinking about trying it- it sounds like few here have done it, so maybe I will start after I rack my plum wine...
