i put mine in every batch. its like a personal joke every time i see someone drink my beer. plus it is quite invigorating.

honestly, i wasnt sure what to expect when i clicked this thread..

but i am so happy there have been no pitures.

When i was at GABF, Jim Koch said he brewed something based on the recipe for a guy's wedding in Colorado. He said it was meant to invigorate the groom for his much younger bride, like an old fashioned viagra. it was the first time i'd heard of it, but i've seen it brought up like three times in the last couple of weeks.

I have not brewed it, but I was a member of a Homebrew club where one of the guys brewed it, and brought some to a tasting.... Surprisingly it wasn't bad. Not something I'd drink a lot of or often... but interesting.

I just kept thinking... "so this is what salmonella tastes like."

Boy that really blows the German Purity Law to bits.

After sitting in the beer that long wouldn't your cock get a yeast infection?:p

So, you have to beware the chicken fat and stuff when you use your autosiphon... otherwise the racking process will really suck cock

:p

I might do this, just to get my cock in my wifes mouth. It's been so long that I'm very tempted to try it out. Since the kids came, she hasn't been drinking ale that much, so I might brew this recipe so that she puts my cock ale in her mouth. Hopefully it will taste fine so she swallows and doesn't spit it all over. wow....can't wait to put my cock ale in her mouth and ask her how delicious it tastes.

whew! 9 words in and I'm exempted! The rest sounds real bad:drunk:

To make Cock Ale
Take ten gallons of ale, and a large cock, the older the better, parboil the cock, flea him, and stamp him in a stone mortar till his bones are broken

I've had some brew days that were long. Some brewing techniques like party-gyle and decotion mashing are hard to get right.
It looks like this cock ale is long and hard.
