I have a kegerator hooked up to a 5 Lb CO2 tank. I've recently purchased a Soda Stream that I want to connect to the CO2 tank. The Soda Stream would require the same kind of connection that the regulator for the Kegerator requires. I'm looking to split the line where the open/close valve is for the CO2 tank and connect both the regulator and the Soda Stream to the tank.

I can't seem to find the needed Y-Split. Any suggestions / help? Is this feasible? Seems like from a pressure / air consumption angle that as long as both aren't in use, it should be fine?

Thanks for your input!

I believe I need something a bit different:

CO2-----Y-----CO2 Regulator-----Kegerator
............|
............-----Soadstream

Needing a piece that creates the Y before the regulator.

The Sodastream needs high pressure, unregulated air. Hoping to find this Y piece so that the kegerator and Sodastream both feel like they are hooked up to the CO2 tank. The Sodastream will not function properly if it receives CO2 at 10PSI from the regulator.

So something like this? Splitter You could also go the route of a dual regulator with one cranked up all the way and the other set to ~10psi for beer

YES!

Thank you, I tried searching for all sorts of names. That appears to be it. I like the idea of the dual regulator as well...Will have to research what PSI the Sodastream needs and a regulator that could provide it.

Hey there. tried to do the same thing, however gets tricky. I got a co2 splitter from these guys and they also provided the regulator and any fittings to adapt, seems like they've done it before. Sites geared towards effects but they definitely to know a plethora about co2 in general, including beer etc. Shipped my order same day fittings and all. I spent about an hour on the phone with other people who didn't have fittings in stock or know the types. I know they had everything stocked....save you the time I wasted calling around. :mug:
