I don't have kegs yet, but I am planning to in the future. I've seen alot of posts about fridges that fit "x" number of kegs and a 5# bottle of CO2. Is it necessary to have the CO2 in the fridge with the kegs or could it be plumbed from the outside? Wasn't sure if the temp of CO2 has any effect on the brew or utilization.

Thanks for the advice.

I don't believe that it matters. I've seen both, mine is in but its taking up space that could hold another keg so it may come out.

I recently moved mine to the outside of the fridge. It makes no difference other than the psi in the bottle goes up as it gets warmer. You might have to adjust your serving pressure a tad, but that's it.
