CO2 Canister

Does anyone know if its ok to lay the CO2 canister on its side.

Not with the valve turned on. You don't want to get liquid CO2 into your regulator.

correct. unless you install an anti-siphon tube in the CO2 cylinder to prevent pushing liquid CO2 into the regulator, which pretty much ruins it.
