Bottled a Imperial Pale Ale today at around 8% alc.
I made the switch from doing 5gal batches to 10 gal batches and am still having problems adjusting my measurements accordingly. So anyways... I bottled this beer with only 3/4 cup of corn sugar in 10 gallons of beer!!!! Capped them before realizing this....

Solution.... I measured out the rest of the sugar, made a syrup out of it, and opened each bottle again to add the corresponding amount to each bottle. Then I had to cap them all again.

Any one have any similar stories??

I once mashed only half my grains. I'd ground them into two pails with the intent of putting half in the tun adding water, and then the other half. Turns out I forgot half of it in my distraction. It wasn't until I'd sat for an hour that I realized my mistake. I added the rest of the grains some hot water and remashed for another hour. The beer turned out fine.
