IM on my first batch (LME kit),I decided to rack from the primary to glass after a week. My question is how clear will the beer get with time? Will I be able to see through a 5 gal Carboy without a light? It is a Coopers English Bitter kit.

If you vcan get the beer below 40F for 3-4 weeks it should clearly pretty nicely. At warmer temps it takes longer. It also depends on how your yeast strain flocculates, some clear better than others.

Wow right now I have it siting at about 70, I suppose I could set it on the concrete floor with a bit of cardboard, that should bring it down a bit. Thanks
