I just drilled my kettle for a ball valve install. What is the best way to remove a slight sharp edge on the inside of the kettle? I dont have a dremel. Im assuming this edge should be removed to get a good seal
It is a thin wall stainless kettle. I have a grinder, but was wondering if just using metal sandpaper was a safer route.

I'm assuming you used a step-bit in the drill... well, same step-bit drill used judiciously from inside pointing out will clean the burr easily

Fine sandpaper. The black waterproof (dry/wet) stuff is probably best. 220-400 grit.

No grinder, it removes waaay to fassst.

You're looking for a deburring tool.
