So... I've got a crap load of oil spilt in my garage. I used some kitty litter to get the majority of it up. Now I put some morter mix on top. Letting that soak in. Any one have any other tips? This my brewing space and my only area of the house that's "mine". Lol

carb cleaner will raise oil. then put kitty litter, saw dust, etc to absorb. or engine degreaser at wlmart $2/can. muriatic acid.. but will etch if left too long before rinsing.

that's the reason i have 2-part epoxy for my "shop" floor. but it can't stand up to uv so my 20'x20' driveway is offlimits to vehicles.

I've had decent luck with Kitty Litter and then a degreaser/solvent. I don't worry too much about my garage floor. I built a garage to use it, not to treat as another room in my house. I clean up what I can and then live with the slight discoloration.

If you just have to have it pristine, then you will need to seal it.

mineral spirits just pour it on let it sit a while then add kitty litter . I do this when I spill oil in the garage depending on the concrete it works well.My floor was troweled to a very smooth finish so its doesn't hold stains that much.
