Just took a gravity reading of my Helles. 1.02 at 68° which would mean almost 5% abv which is exactly what was expected even though I screwed up the mash.
But the beer is so thick with sediment I am not even sure what the color really is. Going to rack this one into the secondary in a few days and see if it will settle out some. Any other tips to cleaning up the sediment?
(It has been in the primary for 10 days with almost no bubble action in the air lock with W1007 yeast.)
Beer notes
Edit~
Just saw this, and I am going to try it.
