Just got a 14 gallon conical and filled her up tonight with it's first beer - a Wee heavy. I see though that cleaning/sanitizing is a little tricky compared to me sitting carboys on a keg/carboy washer and letting it recirculate. I actually wound up turning the conical upside down and doing the same thing to get by for this brew.

however, I would really like to be able to hook up a spray ball or something. I see morebeer used to sell them but they have been discontinued http://morebeer.com/view_product/7541

I'm sure someone out there has found a great way to solve this problem!

Brewershardware has spray balls as does McMaster Carr. Perhaps you should check out the brewhemoth cip thread to get some ideas.

And this is the sprayball that's comparable to the 1.5 inch morebeer used to sell. It's 1 inch tc but since 1 and 1.5 use the same ferrule it will work the same.
