How would YOU go about cleaning a box of cans that’s been sitting in a garage for 6 months. Just realized a pack of cans has been getting covered in garage dust and junk and whatnot and not quite sure if I should attempt to clean them by putting them in a dishwasher with no cleaner, some other method of cleaning, or if they’re just not worth it and I should order a new box

If there's a way to hold them down in the dishwasher racks, go for it!
Maybe put some plates, upside down, on top to weigh them down.

Put some Oxiclean in the dishwasher, you want to use some sort of detergent, and safe for beer foam.

Is the pressure inside the dishwasher that intense? I feel like i've put really light tupperware containers on the top rack and never had a problem. I have a take a look in my dishwasher again. I know theres a rotating arm above the top rack, and above the bottom rack, but i assume there's also a spray that comes up from the bottom too for the bottom rack? I would assume i could just load all the cans in and it should be fine.
