I've always cleaned my kettles immediately after brewing And put my lids on them. So my question is once I clean my kettles are they clean until my next brew. Which could be weeks apart. Or should I clean them again just before I brew.

I clean after brewing then just rinse well and sanitize for the next batch. No problems so far.

EDIT: Like WayFrae below I rinse and remove residue then rinse well for my BK then rinse and sanitize for next brew. I dont use any cleaners for the BK but do for the frementer when I feel it needs it.

I rinse mine out and wipe out the hop residue after brew day and then use it my next brew day without cleaning it again. Since the kettle is the hot side of brewing sanitizing is not necessary and a waste of sanitizer.
