Cleaning brand new bottles?

Not sure where this falls, however as newb I thought I would throw it in here and see what I get.

Would one need to clean bottles purchased at LHBS or just sanitize right out of the box?

If there's no visable dirt and I wouldn't expect there to be, I'd just sanitize and fill.

With new bottles I've always just rinsed them quickly to remove any dust that happened to fall into the necks during storage and then sanitized.
