Cleaning bottles and lines

Hello,

I'm a first time home brewer and read that you can clean your bottles in a bucket of oxiclean. I was wondering if you could do your siphon and other lines in oxiclean as well?

I've heard of people using it as I think it is cheaper, but I have not. PBW all the way for me!

Oxi clean free is a decent cleaner. Reason most people use it for bottles is that the labels literally fall off after a soak in OC. I wouldn't advise using it on much else considering the film it leaves behind, probably ok as long as you rinse and sanitize well afterwards though.

Yep. Works great. Just get the unscented version.

I use hot water for my houses. No need to waste soap there.
