I have an ounce of Apollo on hand that has no recipe yet. Dry hop with it and some Columbus you think?

I'd use them in a whirlpool or hopstand edition as opposed to dry hopping. That way you'll pull that dank resinous flavor out of them which will also contribute to aroma too.

Thanks! Sounds like a plan! I have five recipes lined up currently, but I'm sure I will brew this one again and will work in the one ounce of Apollo.

If you really want to push dank flavors, Columbus is definitely a cornerstone, but adding some fresh apollo in any post-boil additions will really put it over the edge. Plus, both hops are dirt cheap

+1 on the Apollo. my favorite hop combo of late is Mosaic, Simcoe, Columbus, Apollo. Citra in that mix too if i want more fruitiness.
