They don't do Crowler Tuesdays anymore?

I think last Tuesday was the final one - saw something about it on FB saying they want to focus on having special stuff to go in crowler/growler all the time instead of just Tuesday. I'll try and find the post.

"Please note that this will be our last growler Tuesday. Instead of this program, we will be refocusing our efforts on crafting exciting treatment offerings to be available at all times on our growler bar - including growler Tuesday greatest hits."

On Monday, July 31st from 6 PM to 9 PM El Catador Club 7th Edition members who purchase a ticket will be the first consumers with access to purchase 22 oz. bottles of Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout, our monolithic Imperial Stout brewed to honor Georgy Zhukov, arguably one of the finest generals of World War II. While this beer will be released to the general public on August 1st, El Catador Club members who attend our Marshal Zhukov's Preview will not only be able to taste the beer on draught before anyone else, they'll also be able to purchase an unlimited quantity of Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout in 22 oz. bottles before the official release date of August 1st.

Additionally, attendees will be able to purchase draught pours of a brand new beer in Marshal Zhukov's regiment, Cognac Barrel-aged Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout. This beer will not see distribution outside of the Cigar City Brewing Tasting Room and our Marshal Zhukov's Preview Party attendees will be the first consumers to sample this never-before-brewed masterpiece. Also available on draught will be 2016 Bourbon Barrel-aged Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout and a new treatment of Marshal Zhukov's that will be exclusively available at the Preview Party.

The price of admission to Marshal Zhukov's Preview Party is a $25 donation to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. This event is exclusive to El Catador Club members, no guests or +1's may attend.

I say we wrap up this round with a nod to 2011:

I would love to see Neilsbohrum brewed again. That was the barrel aged beer that made me really begin to appreciate the style. Back then you could walk in and just buy some bottles of it out of the cooler.

Then the 2011 BA Huna release that year changed things, still the craziest release IMHO. Babies, snakes, you name it.

i've heard great things about the bottles released so far, also heard look to the cookie from last round was awesome.

looking forward to cracking mine next time i can meetup with some buddies

I opened Look to the Cookie a few weeks ago and was very happy with it. I thought they were spot on in the description - could taste vanilla and chocolate independently. The barrel wasn't overpowering either. Really pleased with the last round and this one so far too.

I've heard this is the last round sadly. Still rumor, but I heard It nonetheless.
