Cigar City El Catador Club Thread

My wife worked for him (huge retial company), We gave him the money in Aug. In Sept she kept reporting to him and loss prevention that she had an employee stealing cash. After 6 weeks of her reporting it the LP guy came in and agreed that money was missing. 2 days later they fired all the managers. My wife was the GM. Dave who could have fought for her did nothing. I told him that actually pretty nicely and didnt hear from him for months.

Then my wife texts him asking how the girs are and he fnally texts back. During the conversation he has the BALLS to tell her that because she got fired he lost a $1000 manager retainment bonus. She had to physically restrain me from getting the car to go to his house ( in my mind i was going to beat his ass). Havnt talked to him since.

I did hear he put the $19 cash in a college fund for the kids and used $4 to pay bills.

Oh well.

Man, so sorry to hear that. Your act of human benevolence was incredible, and has to be the greatest ever in the beer world, neck-and-neck with Grumpy's LIF.

Nah its ok, in the end it helps the Girls have a better life, hell if he invests it right that 19k will be allot of money in 18yrs when the girls go to college.

Wow to this thread. No I'm not the "its my birthday" guy. Yes I was the cause of it. But I was just standing in a huge circle of people that were handed numbers. Nobody cared until they said we have 6 bottles of Leon... The guy with the 9 cases is the same dude but I do know for a fact that all those were a collection of friends during huna day... His attitude well.... That was just ******.

I would contact them (or Eventbrite) about that refund. I had thought it was taking extremely long to receive my refund but until I checked a different card than the one I thought I had used - it was there two weeks previously, I had just forgotten that I used my debit card instead of my credit card.

If you took life is like off that list and just put regular huna plus something to fill the last spot it would probably work. Life is like was not an el Catador beer. But you also left off 110k +OT batch 6 which was the extra bottle we were allowed to purchase.
