I had made a few 5 gallon batches of cider. One 5 gallon, I left alone second I put in a brand new oak barrel for a month.
Both were cleared very well using the clearing clay.
However, the batch I put in the barrel I have just taken out and put it back in my carboy for storage until I get my Co2 refilled for kegging.
The barreled cider has reclouded it seems.
The only thing I could even remotely think would affect this is having added campden tablets to sanitize the barrel and the sparsan for the carboy after.
tldr;
Why did my cider re-cloud after oak barrel.
