To me, Craigslist is like fishing; you have to keep dipping your line in the water to find a lunker.
If you don't absolutely need something immediately, it's well-worth checking Craigslist for a couple weeks or so.
I ran into the deal of a lifetime on Craigslist last year. For $150 I got 2 glass carboys, fermentation fridge, cooler mash tun w/ ball valve and screen installed, fastrack bottle drying system, Inkbird 308, bottle caps, capper, 16 22-oz bomber bottles, 5-gallon kettle with lid, milk crate, and a host of small stuff. I figured it was $400-worth of stuff.
I sold the Carboys for $25 (yeah, they were worth more, but I got rid of them which is what I wanted), so my net on the rest was $125. This was the kick-start I needed to get me going with all-grain.
If you search Craigslist for brew, beer, brewing, kegerator, keezer (unlikely, but might hit), freezer and refrigerator, you'll find all sorts of interesting stuff.
Here's an example from the Dubuque area Craigslist:

Mash tun, burner, kettle--$40. The guy puts these together and sells 'em cheap, proceeds to a local food pantry.
Keep fishing!
