Hey. I’m getting ready to brew my white stout today I was wondering when to add the white chocolate extract. I noticed that it is thick like syrup. When I put a drop in the beer I was drinking it pretty much balled up and sank. So I’m kinda weirded out about it.

What kind of extract is it? Did it come with a beer kit?
Most extracts should be added to completed beer, and left on them for a few days to a few weeks. Or added toward the end of fermentation if they contain sugars that need to ferment out as well.

It’s a white chocolate extract. No it’s not a box. It’s in like a 5oz bottle

Most extracts are added to the keg and then racked on top of. I always shake the keg as well to help kix the solution

Check the instructions, you might need to dissolve it in some heated wort. I would add it. I've had some good experiences adding funky stuff to beers when the instructions said to add it.

PS would love to see the white stout!
