I was wondering what the best type of beer would be to have a chocolate beer. And can I use an ingredients kit?? I just have one brew pot and haven't done any recipes without a kit yet.

Thanks for the info. I'm headed out tomorrow to check a new brew shop and will not leave empty handed, must brew beer!!

My related question is where to get dutch process cocoa at a good price. I have a hard time finding it in grocery stores, and online the prices seem a bit steep. Is there a place people get it for a reasonable price? Especially since a brew usually needs around half a pound of it.

I'm headed to a health food store that has a huge home brew selection and supposedly knowledgable staff I wonder if they'll have it. You must use that for boil?? I was thinking cocoa powder last 10 min boil and the chocolate nibs last two weeks of secondary
