I poured my first glass from my first batch of home brew today. I just wanted to thank all of you guys on this site, especially all the regulars in the beginners forum, for all of the recommendations and help. Cheers!

It's a nut brown ale. I think on my next run for this style, I'm going add some local honey during the boiling process. Honey nut brown has a good ring to it.
 
Welcome to the addiction... er.... I mean hobby.

Nice looking brew. This place is a great place to learn. Hang out and ask questions. There are a lot of very good brewers that are very willing to answer any questions you may have. When I first started brewing, I spent so much time on here soaking up as much info as I could, my wife called it my beer porn.

Now get another fermenter or three and start some more brews to build that pipeline.
