For my first batch of beer, I failed to take any hydrometer readings throughout the process. Now I am wondering how much alcohol is in my bottled beer. Is it possible to check the gravity/alcohol content after the beer has been bottled?

If you know the exact ingredients and volumes that went into the beer, you can estimate the original gravity. You can then determine a ballpark alcohol percentage by pouring one of your beers, swirl/shake it to get all of the CO2 out of suspension, and then taking a final gravity reading on it.
