Like John said. I got all my kegs from here. But I also add the poppits and o-rings which gets you to $23. Plus shipping. Still a good deal. If you anticipate needing more than 1, buy at the same time to save a little on shipping.

I bought four from them with no problem, and I just bought the new o-rings, no poppets. The four came in one box.

Huh. that's a lot cheaper than I would have expected (I've never really looked at keg prices). Kegging's still not an option for me, I'd need a second fridge and I don't have room for one right now. Someday, I'll get my basement set up the way I want and build me a kegerator; kinda hard today with the dearth of wiring in the basement.

I'm just updated my mini-fridge to hold 2 kegs. nothing major, but having a brew on tap would be a nice change.

My LHBS sells used cornies pressurized with a new set of o-rings for $35. Now, considering shipping cost should i just buy these, and if so, is re-doing the poppits necessary?

$35 is a pretty good deal for rebuilt kegs, considering that you can actually look at them before you buy them. Returning one if you have a problem will be easier too. I would think that if that price includes the o-rings, that the poppets would have been replaced as well. Just make sure you give them a good cleaning and sanitizing with all the parts disassembled ,even if they say that they have already been cleaned.

If for some reason you don't have a good experience, sabco has completely checked over, re-built, tested, acid-washed cornies for $32 plus shipping.

Good luck!
